How Our Salt Lake-Based ABSN Program Works

Our full-time, Accelerated BSN program in Salt Lake City, Utah, follows a rigorous 16-month curriculum that combines online nursing coursework with hands-on skills and simulation labs at our ABSN Learning Site and in-hospital clinical rotations.

Accreditations

This extra level of accreditation makes Concordia University one of the most elite nursing schools in the region.

This designation allows Concordia nursing graduates to apply for careers in federal government – including military and Veteran’s Administration positions – and offers a smoother path to graduate nursing programs.

Concordia is a private, nonprofit, Christian university accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, affiliated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and a member of the Concordia University System.

Concordia University–Portland’s nursing program in Salt Lake City is also fully approved by the Utah State Board of Nursing and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
